The Women of Phillips Temple CME church will be starting our women’s day celebration with several events starting March 1, 2013 and leading to our Women’s Day morning worship service May 19, 2013.

Souvenir Booklet Ad Order Form

During our Women’s Day banquet May 18 and our Sunday Morning Service May 19, our printed program will consist of advertisements from organizations and individuals who support our Women’s Day celebration.  Reaching an audience of over 300 people during our celebration weekend, placing an ad will be sure to bring exposure and interest to your organization from women and men all over the city of Toledo.

Soul Food Buffet & Judah Praise Concert a Success!

Thank you to everyone who came out to support Phillips Temple CME Church at The Church of Saint Andrews with our Soul Food Buffet and our own Judah Praise in Concert!  We had an AWESOME time in the Lord and all who came left full in every way!

Birthday Celebration for Rose McGee

Following morning service, there will be a birthday celebration for Sis. Rose McGee.  Please plan to attend and help her celebrate!

Thank you for all donations!

A great BIG thank you to all members of Phillips Temple who donated their new/gently used clothes and shoes to the clothing drive for the homeless.  16 full bags of clothing will be sorted and delivered to the Cherry Street Mission and Sparrow’s Nest Shelters.  Thank you for your giving spirit Phillips!

Thanksgiving Buffet Thank You

A Heartfelt thank you goes out to the Phillips Temple family for their participation in the Trustee’s Thanksgiving Buffet.

Budget Rally

Phillips Temple will be holding its first Budget Rally. Pastor Adams is asking as many members as possible to partake in this effort to help raise funds for Phillips Temple’s conference assessment.  Please open your hearts and wallets to this cause.

Occasion Assessment Amounts:

$96.00 – Founders Day

$100.00 – Harvest Tea

$200.00 – Conference Claims

Pastor Adams will be leading the giving with an amount of $1,000.00

Bible Study cancellation

Wednesday Morning Bible study will not be held as of now, and will resume after the new year.

Higher Dimension Choir Ministers at St. Paul

Phillips Temple CME Church had a chance to participate with St. Paul AME Zion Church during their Old Ship of Zion program.  Thank you St. Paul for including us in your nostalgic program… the God of then is the same God of today!

Judah Praise Ministers at DFWC

Judah Praise had the privilege of ministering at Deliverance Fellowship Worship Center’s Gospel Concert “A night of praise and worship”.   It certainly won’t be the last time that this wonderful group has the chance to do so with DFWC.  Thank you for the opportunity to share the love of Christ through song!

Thanksgiving Basket donations needed

We are asking all members to donate something for the needy families for thanksgiving during this season of giving.  God has blessed us to be a blessing to others.

There is a large donation box in the foyer of the church, you can drop off your donations there during office hours or on Sunday.
